Better Buildings

US Green Building CouncilIn a world where sustainability is gaining momentum, at McDonald Modular Solutions we do not view Green building as a trend, it is our legacy. We’ve been designing and building eco-friendly for years. It makes perfect sense that we would be leaders in the green initiative.

McDonald Modular Solutions is unique as we are the first company in the industry headed by a LEED Accredited Professional. Modular building components and finished modular building units can be a part of any LEED design and construction effort. Our approach to helping the environment is simple.

McDonald’s upper management and project managers are undergoing instruction to earn additional LEED Accredited Professional designations for employees as set up by the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

Benefits of Green Building

  1. Reduced Operating costs
  2. Enhanced marketability
  3. Increased worker productivity
  4. Reduced potential liability from Air Quality issues
  5. Reduce negative environmental impacts

Green modular building provides cleaner air, more daylight and increased productivity. Utility bills are lower, and less energy is consumed. Water use is also minimized. It is a goal of green building to reduce impact on the environment so water efficient devices are used and in some cases water is reused.

During the construction of your modular building, less building materials are wasted. There is far less construction site disturbance, and the environmental damage is minimized. Going green is the future of our business, and the future of our world. At McDonald Modular Solutions, we are proud to be on the cutting edge of this new movement.
